We're Almost There: New Year's Eve "Shout Out" Edition

Happy New Year's Eve to all!Last week’s match up with the Giants and the Jets was a wonderful sight to behold. Wait a minute, wasn’t there inconsistencies on offense and defense?  Why yes there was, but more importantly than that, was a New York Giants team that showed up to play ball for FOUR QUARTERS! It really doesn’t get much better than that. In this game we see a “spark” ignited in the running game between the three backs Jacobs, Bradshaw, and Ware. They didn’t have monstrous rushing yards, no, but each time they got the ball they ran it like men on a mission! That, my friend, is what Giants football is all about! Pounding it in yard for yard! May I also take this time to shout out Ahmad Bradshaw; not taking away from our other backs in any form or fashion, but that dude is the epitome of a BEAST!
Also sending a shout out to Victor Cruz for the 99 yard touchdown in the second quarter. Hold up, I didn’t do that right! Sending a shout out to Victor Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuz! There it goes, that play was exhilarating to watch. The next shout out goes to our defense for holding it down for all four quarters, a much better exhibition than the week against the Redskins. You know I can’t talk about the defense without sending a shout out to Jason Pierre-Paul. His pursuit in the pass rushing gives me chills! Every player has his own style, but just the persistence in the chase gives me LT flashbacks! I am definitely down with JPP!
Also sending a shout out to coach Coughlin, for toughing it out after his sideline “collision” with Ware. Say what you want, but he proved he’s as tough as the squad he coaches! This game also had some “one eye-brow raising” calls made, like the two fumble recoveries that were taken away. In the end the Gmen prevailed, proving yet again what team truly runs New York! But we, the fans, knew that before the game was even played! I'll use this time to send my final shout out to my qb Eli Manning and his offense!
As I sit this New Year’s Eve very excited about the game tomorrow night against the Cowboys! So excited, by the way, that I had a very heated debate with a Cowboys’ fan at the gas station while pumping gas. I LOVE Giants v/s Cowboys week! I hope that the Gmen take the spark given to the running game straight into the home stretch, continue the passing assault,  and that our defense taps their inner quarterback killer mode and do work on the Cowboys offense Sunday night.
This game is for all the marbles! The winner moves on to the next level and the loser goes back home. The NFC East belongs to the New York Giants and this division playoff will tell the story of how badly they want it! May the heart that rose in the Gmen against the Jets for city bragging rights rise 1,000 xs more against the Cowboys for division bragging rights and a playoff run! Wishing everyone a very blessed and prosperous 2012! Go Big Blue, I still bELIeve!
